Hello, Laura and CJ here.

This year we have the privilege of being your MMSS presidents. We would like to welcome our 2020 Members and the broader MMSS community to The MANE Blog! We thank you for choosing the MMSS, and we look forward to sharing all the exciting new benefits, offers and opportunities we have planned for you this year! As you are reading this, we are very excited you have found our new MMSS blog! As an additional benefit to our members and the MMSS community, we will be introducing a new series of weekly blog posts written by our very own committee! There will be a new post each week covering a variety of entertaining and insightful topics. These may include topics like “how to make money at home” and “experiences of being an exchange student with the MMSS.” We hope to provide a valuable source of entertainment and education to you, whilst bringing our MMSS community together through sharing ideas, advice and experiences. 

Here’s an insight into what you’ll gain from our new blog:

No matter how far you are into your degree, there are so many opportunities available to you. From joining a student society to mentoring, the hardest part is choosing what you want to do. Our advice to you is to keep an open mind, try new things and view every encounter as a chance to build meaningful relationships. Take risks and work hard. After all, uni is a valuable taste of the real world.
